Skin: The skin is the body’s outer cover. It protects us against heat and light, injury, and infection.
It regulates body hotness and stores water, fat, and vitamin D.
Weighing about 6 pounds, the skin is the body’s largest organ. It is made up of two main layers; the outer epidermis and the inner dermis.
The epidermis (outer layer of the skin) is mostly made up of flat, scale-like cells called squamous cells.
Under the squamous cells are surrounding cells called basal cells. The deepest part of the epidermis also contain melanocytes. These cells fabricate melanin, which gives the skin its color.
The dermis (inner layer of skin) contains blood and lymph vessels, hair follicles, and glands.

Yoga for beauty can help you to seem young and beautiful well into old age.
Face is the index of mind, good feel of skin and health of your hairs are an indication of your physical and mental health.
I have come across many people who have a flame on their face with years of regular yoga practice.
Yogic Tips for Glowing Skin
1. Make water as your favorite drink. Drink plenty of water as it hydrates the skin and helps to take away toxins. It also helps to promote smooth bowel movements.
2. Be cheerful at all times. There is not anything better than laughter yoga in this regard.
3. Practice detachment and keep away from excesses of food, drinks or emotions. Eat for nutrition and not for taste buds.
4. Follow an lively and healthy lifestyle.
5. Clean and exfoliate your skin frequently. Use an effective moisturiser.
6. Get your body massaged every so often. Oil massage improves blood circulation and improves the health of the skin.
7. Avoid over exposure to sun. Do keep in mind to apply your sun screen lotion.
Skin Care TIPS
1. A facemask of egg white and honey gently removes the tan from your face.
2. Mix oats with honey, yogurt and ground almonds. Apply this in your face, leave it for five minutes and wash with tepid water.
3. Cucumber is a natural cleanser. Mix cucumber juice
4. with milk and use it instead of a cleanser.
5. For oily skin, apply a mixture of grapes, lemon and egg white. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with warm water.
While lemon acts as a natural cleanser, grapes will soften your skin and egg whites will make tighter it. Don’t be alarmed if your skin tingles.
6. Cut the lemon and rub the lodge all over your face. Leave it for about 20 minutes, then rinse off with cold water. This will refresh your face. Avoid responsibility this if you have dry skin.
7. Mix honey, lemon and vegetable oil .This mixture is a good moisturiser for dry skin. Apply this mask for 10 minutes.
8. Apply the mixture of honey and milk on the face . This will make your skin glow.
9. Prepare a mask by addition a slice of pumpkin with egg yolk and milk. Let this mask set on your face for 30 minutes for a glowing skin.
10. Mix half-a-cup honey to your bath water for soft and Smooth Skin.
11. For a soothing body pack, get ready a paste of mint leaves and almonds. Mix it with warm water and apply all over your body. Leave it till it dries and rinse with warm water.
12. Buttermilk dabbed on skin for 15 minutes will soak up oil from your skin without drying it.
13. Carrot juice practical daily fades blemishes.
